Decorative LED Products
These products are formed from white polypropylene, and are IP66 rated, which means that the units can be used outdoors. The bright decorative effect produced has endless applications including nightclubs, bars, exhibitions, shop displays, marquees, gardens, stage sets - the only limit is your imagination! They must be powered by the dedicated SRC-241 controller. The SRC-241 will control up to 12 ball/cube products. The user can either use the SRC-241’s built in programs, or connect a standard DMX controller to have full DMX control over all 12 balls/cubes.
They contain Red, Green & Blue LEDs to allow full RGB colour mixing. For optimum results, you should ensure that the surface to be illuminated has a matt finish - it is a common misconception that reflective surfaces will illuminate best.
The controller features two 24vdc outputs, but units connected to the SRC-171 will all be the same colour at the same time regardless of which output they are connected to. Units are wired in parallel using 4 core cable. If you require control of the colour of individual tubes, see the LED Pipe DMX on the opposite page. The controller can be used stand-alone to set a fixed colour, roll through all colours at a variable speed, and strobe all units at a variable speed. By connecting a DMX controller, these features can be controlled remotely.
Path lights must be controlled by the SRC-171 unit detailed above. Up to 50 Path Lights can be driven from one controller.
The LED Pipe DMX is a refinement of our popular standard LED Pipes. These Pipes can be individually addressed, and given a direct DMX feed allowing much more control and flexibility than the standard version. They are powered by the SDL-109P drive unit which provides power for up to 20 DMX Pipes, after which additional SDL-109P units must be used to power further multiples of up to 20 pipes. The LED Pipe DMX is ideal for use in retail, exhibition, stage, and much more.
They are IP68 rated, so suited to both indoor and outdoor use. The string is supplied with 20 LED modules and can easily be cut and joined as required. The maximum number of backlight modules in a continous string is 80 pieces. The strings are connected to a Transformer which will power a maximum of 400 modules (eg. 20 strings of 20 modules).
Animated Decorative LED Products These effects are designed as visual ‘eye candy’ rather than for illumination. Both effects are based on the same principal, where colours ‘flow’ across the panel/tube. They are controlled by dedicated controllers which are pre-programmed with 10 animated effects, and 7 selectable fixed colours. Each of the animated effects has variable parameters such as speed, strobe and in the case of two-colour effects, the colour combination can be specified. These patterns can be controlled remotely by DMX. Both of these products really have to be seen in action to understand the effect produced.

concealed, and the minimal operating temperature makes them ideal for
use in enclosed spaces such as internal lighting for signage.

up to 90cm of water, making it ideal for lighting water features.
